Sony Vaio P Series gets updated but keeps high price tag
Posted on 10. May, 2010 by Ricky in Netbooks
The Sony Vaio P Series mini laptop which has been on the market for quite sometime now is finally getting a nice update. The updates Sony gave it’s P Series include a new processor the Intel Atom Z560(how ever Sony will not be including this in the US versions of the P Series they instead will keep the old Atom Z530 CPU), an optical touchpad and accelerometer as well as new color options and features options. The Sony Vaio P Series isn’t better than netbooks which cost half the price but it’s more of a luxury item that is meant for style rather than function. The P Series in actuallity weights just 600g which is just simply amazing and it’s also has very sleek and appealing styling. It’s only weakness is in performance and in that category a $350 netbook is a better buy. The Sony Vaio P Series will be coming to the states with out the new processor but with everything else with a starting price of $799(steep we know) and will be available starting June 2010.
