Toshiba AC100-114 smartbook with SSD’s and Android 2.1 OS

The unofficial Toshiba AC100-114 10.1-inch smartbook/netbook isn’t being spoken of just yet by Toshiba but oh we wish they would. This little 10.1-inch will be a first of it’s kind with a processor courtesy of Nvidia and a OS courtesy of Google Android. The leaked specifications for this hopeful smartbook detailed that it would feature a Nvidia Tegra T20 processor which will be able to handle full 1080p HD playback via HDMI with aplomb.

The Toshiba AC100-114 is also said to come with 512MB of RAM, 16GB of SSD storage, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, SDHC memory card reader, 3-cell battery and of course Android 2.1 operating system(we hope it has Froyo if this thing gets launched). All of this is set to weight less than 2lbs. which will make it a serious contender in the ultra-portable and netbook market. With this recent unveiling of laptops we just hope the unveiling of this Smartbook is coming very soon as well.[Source]
