Acer Aspire One D255 Dual Core Netbook Available For Pre-Order In Europe

The Acer Aspire One D255 netbook was posted about 3 months ago, when Acer’s plans for Intel Atom N550 powered netbook were leaked. It’s taken sometime to get it together but Acer is about to finally deliver the netbook, next month for Europeans. To reserve your D255 a German website is taking pre-orders for the upcoming Acer Aspire One.

Campuspoint.de is the site offering up the exciting new netbook, and they have it in 4 colors Black, Brown, Red and White. The Dual Core netbooks cost €349, on the site they also have the same netbook but with a Single Core Atom N450 for €299.

The Dual Core Acer Aspire One D255 comes with a 10.1″ LED back-lit display (1024×600), the 1.5Ghz Intel Atom N550 Dual Core CPU, Intel GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 250GB Hard Drive. The netbook also comes with a built-in 0.3MP Webcam, SD and MMC card readers, 10/100 Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, a multi-gesture touchpad, and a 6-cell battery for up to 8 hours of operation. Windows 7 Starter is pre-loaded and Microsoft Office Starter 2010 is pre-loaded as well on the D255.
