New Toshiba NB520 Netbook Unveiled Two Visible Harmon/Kardon Speakers

Toshiba NB520Toshiba has just unveiled to a small group of people a new netbook with a whole new design. The Toshiba NB520-1000U is the new netbook and as you can tell from the image above it’s a definite change from your typical NB series netbook from Toshiba.

The new NB520 features two very much visible Harmon/Kardon stereo speakers on either side of the touchpad. Also featured with the netbook is a 10.1″ LCD, a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive, webcam and Windows 7 Starter. The NB520 also weights 1.09kg and will offered in 5 elaborate case colors (Warm Brown, Striking Lime Green, Darling Sunlight Copper, Joyful Blue, Sophisticated Turquoise)

The Toshiba NB520-1000U is available currently in Singapore for $599 Singapore Dollars. The netbook doesn’t feature a built-in optical drive but the shop in Singapore that is offering NB520 is also offering a bundle package that includes a Toshiba external optical drive priced at $629 Singapore Dollars.
