Never Before Seen AMD Nile Platform CPU Spotted On Specification Sheet

Acer Aspire One 721Today a interesting never-before seen chip has been spotted on the specifications sheet of an Acer Aspire One 721. The 11.6-inch Acer ultra-portable has ’til now only had a AMD Athlon II Neo K125 1.7 GHz CPU as a option. The notebook to be accurate is only shown with the new processor on the Czech Republic version of Acer’s website.

The new processor is the AMD Athlon II Neo K145 and it has a clock speed of 1.8 GHz but share the same 1MB of L2 cache as the K125. The new K145 chip shares the same power draw as the already available K125 of 12 Watts. [Acer CZ]
