Schematics and Specifications For New Dell Latitude 2120 Netbook Leak

Dell Latitude 2110Design schematics have leaked today for a netbook identified as being the Dell Latitude 2120. The Dell Latitude 2120 is new business netbook that according to reports will be launching in 2011. The 2120 will be the follow-up to the already available Dell Latitude 2110 business netbook (pictured above).

The new features that are being used in the 2120 include the option for a dual-core 1.5 GHz Intel Atom N550 CPU (the 1.83 GHz Atom N470 is the base chip), support for DDR3 RAM and the option for a Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator. It would also appear that Dell has kicked the option for a touchscreen display option for the new Latitude 2120.

Other features said to be included in the upcoming business netbook are as follows; 1/2GB of DDR3 RAM, Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, 10/100 LAN, Wi-Fi, HDD/SDD storage, memory card slot, a webcam, and a 3-cell (28 Wh) or 6-cell (54/56 Wh) battery. As for the operating system you will be able to have the Dell Latitude 2120 boot with either Windows 7, Ubuntu Linux and Free DOS.[Via]
