Asus Eee PC 1215B 01Asus has brought out some new Eee PC netbooks with the latest AMD Brazos Fusion APU’s inside to CES this year. The new high-powered netbooks will be launching later this quarter but Asus has been good enough to detail them ahead of launch. The two netbooks will be the Asus Eee PC 1015B and Asus Eee PC 1215B.

First up is the Asus Eee PC 1015B and it will feature a 10.1-inch LCD screen with a built-in webcam on it’s bezel. The netbook will of course feature AMD Brazos platform internal hardware and to be more specific the 1.6GHz AMD E-350 Zacate dual-core APU (accelerated processing unit) which will be paired with the AMD Radeon HD 6310 DirectX 11 graphics solution. The 1015B will also have up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250/320GB hard drive, LAN, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 6-cell battery.

As for the Asus Eee PC 1215B it will come with a 12.1-inch HD (1366 x 768) LCD. Other than the screen size change the specifications will be exactly as they are for the Eee PC 1015B. Also before I forget both ultra-portables will be supplied with USB 3.0 ports. As mentioned in the first paragraph above these two will launching later this quarter (no exact release date or pricing released just yet).
