Cover’s SunBook Netbook Allows You To Work Under Direct Sunlight
Posted on 31. Jan, 2011 by Paul in Netbooks
A new netbook has just been launched into the market by a new company. Clover has made their new SunBook netbook available for order if you have $795 to spare. The price is a bit shocking but how does a netbook that features an energy efficient display that is viewable in the Sun sound? Well that is exactly what the SunBook has, a 10.1-inch Pixel Qi display.
The SunBook might still seem very much overpriced but when you go looking around for notebooks that offer displays like the SunBook you will find most have ~10-inch displays like the SunBook but cost well past $1000. However it is worth noting for any of you that are into do-it-yourself projects you could buy a Pixel Qi display to do an upgrade from your netbooks standard LCD for $275 here (see here for pixel Qi upgradable netbooks).
A list of specifications for the Clover SunBook is available below and you can order a SunBook here. [Via]
