NEC has unveiled a new smartbook the Japanese company is planning on bring to market in one month. The NEC LifeTouch Note is the name of the new smartbook. NEC will be offering the LifeTouch Note with Google’s Android 2.2 Froyo OS, Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual-core processor, a 7-inch LED backlit WVGA (800×480 pixels) resistive touchscreen, GPS, accelerometer (for screen rotation), a 2MP webcam, a SD/SDHC memory card slot and Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + 3G connectivity.
When NEC brings this new smartbook they plan to offer a good assortment of uniquely configured models. NEC will offer a 4GB flash storage and Wi-Fi model for around 40,000 Yen, an 8GB Wi-Fi model for around 45,000 Yen and an 8GB 3G+Wi-Fi model for around 45,000 Yen. The choices don’t stop there NEC will be launching the LifeTouch Note in three colors; Chocolate Brown, Piano Black and Red.
