Choice is a healthy thing in the mobile computing world, BenQ is doing their best to bring that to market with the BenQ Joybook Lite U105 netbook. The U150 netbook weights a paltry 800g and it’s available in Brilliant Red, Rich Purple and Stark Black.
Inside the Joybook Lite U105 you can have either the old 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 and the new (to netbooks) 1.83 GHz Intel Atom N470 processor. Other that can be included in a U105 are 1/2 GB of DDR2 RAM, 160/250/320/500 GB 5400RPM hard drives, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 3.75G HSUPA, 3-cell Lithium-Ion (2250 mAh)/6-cell Lithium-Ion (4500 mAh) and Windows XP/7 Starter/7 Home Basic/7 Home Premium.
Major things that are going to be included with the Joybook Lite U105 no matter your configuration include a 10.1″ WSVGA (1024×600 resolution) LED backlit displays, 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi b/g, LAN 10/100, 3x USB 2.0 ports, RJ-45 Ethernet port, Microphone, Headphone, 2x stereo speakers with SRS TruSurround HD & SRS CS Headphone technology.
