HP Mini 210 White CrystalHP has just adopted the newly launched Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor on two of their netbooks. The HP Mini 110 and HP Mini 210 now have options for an N570 dual-core CPU over in Japan. However with other competitors bringing N570 clad netbooks to the US and other markets HP should spread availability of these updated netbooks soon.

Those other netbook makers about to offer this chip for their Intel based netbooks include Acer, ASUS and Lenovo. Just last week the Acer Aspire One D255E-1853 become available and a few days before that we saw the ASUS Eee PC 1015PN at CeBIT 2011 as for Lenovo back at CES 2011 they announced their new IdeaPad S series netbook the S100 would offer the N570 as an option.

At this time the performance for this new N570 chip hasn’t been tested compared to the emerging AMD Brazos Fusion APU’s. However Intel has put up an info page on their ark site for the N570, on that page it shows the N570 has a max. power draw of 8.5 W, 2 cores, 4 threads, a clockspeed of 1.66GHz and 1MB of L2 Cache. This chip also supports DDR3-667 RAM, and that’s all the real info that’s known about the chip. [Via]
